About This Service
What Iron Only means at Bethel
Iron Only is for clean garments that just need to be pressed. Maybe you washed at home, or you have clothes out of storage — whatever the reason, we'll press them with the same temperature precision and steam care we apply to our full wash & iron service. No shortcuts because it's 'just ironing'.
How We Do It
Our process — step by step
Garment Check
We inspect each garment before pressing — care label, fabric type, existing damage. If a garment arrives with stains, we'll flag it rather than press the stain in (pressing sets stains permanently).
Temperature Calibration
Cotton, linen, silk, wool, synthetic — each has its own correct pressing temperature and steam level. We calibrate before every batch. A synthetic pressed at cotton temperature is ruined. That doesn't happen here.
Steam Conditioning
We introduce light steam before pressing to relax fibres and lift stubborn creases. This gives a cleaner finish in fewer passes — less heat time on the fabric, sharper result.
Collar, Cuff, Seam Precision
Shirts get collar and cuffs pressed on a sleeve board first, then the body. Trousers get a centre crease. Sarees and formal wear get full-length passes with appropriate pressure. Details are not an afterthought.
Folded or Hung & Delivered
Pressed shirts can be returned on hangers if you prefer — just mention it. Otherwise we fold flat with a cardboard insert to keep the press intact during delivery.

Temperature Is Everything
Most ironing damage — sheen, scorch marks, melted synthetics — comes from wrong temperature. We read care labels and know common fabric compositions by feel. The right temperature the first time protects your garment long-term.
Steam Over Pressure
Forcing creases with heavy pressure and dry heat flattens and weakens fibres. Steam does the work — pressure finishes it. We use less force, more steam, better results.
Only Clean Garments Accepted
We don't press dirty clothes — not because we won't, but because we care about your outcome. Pressing dirty fabric sets body oils and stains into fibres permanently. It defeats the point.
Garment-Level Pricing
You pay per garment, not per kg. You're not paying for the weight of your saree or the heft of your winter coat — you're paying for the work. That's fair.
Sustainability is part of the standard
We use biodegradable detergents, load-proportional water dosing, energy-efficient machines, and responsible chemical waste management. Being good at laundry and being responsible about how we do it are not in conflict — they're the same thing.
